That’s a great way to stay up to date with what’s going on with us, we are working on moving away from Discord due to many reasons, but the biggie is the ID verification, which we fundamentally disagree with.. not to mention the lack of E2E(End-to-End) encryption, privacy leaks, annoying paywalling.. etc, etc.. They did like most companies, make a product, make it invaluable, make it ubiquitous.. then paywall, sell/hoard user data, etc..

We are currently running a matrix homeserver, and we like it, its been around for quite a while, has end to end encryption, but there are some things we dont like, mainly the video chat features, its not ideal.. and we’re actively testing half a dozen different alternatives, and we will soon have chosen one to host on our infrastructure. We will be keeping Matrix either way, as we think its one of the best all around chat protocols for the modern era, basically the IRC of 2026 and beyond. Keep up to date by joining our channel on Matrix, Watching our site, joining our newsletter eventually when we get that sorted. We plan to have our other services up soon so keep your eyes peeled, and we still host game servers, websites and email for friends and small communities of gamers & enthusiasts.
